What is Saizen® (somatropin)?

Saizen®, also known as somatropin, is a medicine prescribed when the body does not produce enough growth hormone naturally. It can help to provide the extra growth hormone that you need. Saizen® is given by injection under the skin (subcutaneous) using the easypod® device.

Transmitting your data

Backing up your device is important. It allows your care team to view the injection history stored in your easypod® device and make adjustments to optimise your treatment. Backing up your easypod® regularly (every time you change the cartridge) also ensures your injection history and settings are not lost should your device become faulty or get damaged.
